Most apps do not fail because of product quality; they fail because users never discover them. ASO is a weekly feedback loop that combines intent mapping, creative testing, and retention-aware messaging.

1) Start with real search intent

Build your keyword set from user jobs-to-be-done, not only competitor titles. Group terms by intent clusters, then map each cluster to one screenshot headline.

Treat screenshots as a conversion funnel, not as a gallery.

2) Run weekly creative experiments

Ship one controlled change every week: subtitle, first screenshot headline, or value ordering. Keep your baseline and track deltas against impressions.

  • Keep title + subtitle readable in first 2 seconds
  • Align screenshot copy with top three intent clusters
  • Compare conversion before/after each single change
